DuPont™ Danisco® ingredient solutions, use palm kernel oil to produce MCT with varying concentrations of C8 and C10 fatty acids. These MCTs are neutral in taste, odour and colour. The clear, low-viscosity liquid format is easy to incorporate in the formulation. Compared to other fats, the fatty acids in GRINDSTED®MCT are more rapidly metabolized– giving fast energy release before the body can store them as fat. They are also slightly lower in calories.
